For reasons of conservation, the Museum can only exhibit a small selection of the almost 100,000 drawings, engravings and posters making up the collection, which represents some of the most important Catalan art movements, with major artists like Marià Fortuny and Ramon Casas. The collection of modern posters stands out for its artistic value.
Has its own exhibition room, though only a small part of its collection of 135,000 coins, medals and valuable paper is exhibited there. The collection includes very rare specimens, like the first silver coins made on the Iberian Peninsula by the Greeks at Emporion and the paper money issued by Catalan Town Halls during the Spanish Civil War.
