The MNAC library, from the beginning linked to the collections and public museums of Barcelona, is a centre specializing in art history, aimed at the Museum's professionals and open to members of the general public interested in the art world (researchers, curators, museum technicians, teachers, critics, collectors, artists, university students...). Its hundred-year history and the specific nature of its collections make it a point of reference for study and research in the field of art.
Located on the first floor, the MNAC Library has a large space, quiet and very bright, thanks to the large windows with views of the Palacete Albéniz.
