THE LIBRARY'S COLLECTION OF MAGAZINES

The collection of periodical publications stands out for the richness in the number, the scope of the collections and the specialization of the titles in it.

It is made up of magazines, bulletins, yearbooks and memoirs of organizations, directories, bibliographic repertoires and artists' magazines. They are principally on paper, while there is also a collection of old magazines on microfilm, plus digital magazines on CD-ROM and on line.

Particularly important is the collection of magazines from the Modernista period, Noucentisme and the artistic avant-garde that constitute a bibliographic gem, among which there are titles unique in the context of the country's public collections.

It presently offers the public 450 magazine titles in circulation.
