Una mā de contes del MNAC (Loads of stories) to Barcelona's libraries
The MNAC is coming out of the Palau Nacional. This July the MNAC's Una mā de contes project is starting its tour of Barcelona's libraries, opening up the Museum to new forms of participation and bringing it closer to the city's neighbourhoods.
Una mā de contes del MNAC is a partnership between the Museum and Televisiķ de Catalunya, which has been on show for almost a year in the Museum's Espai Educart and now also in Barcelona's libraries, presenting 20 stories inspired by the works in the collection seen from a new point of view.
The first stop is the Ignasi Iglésias-Can Fabra library in Sant Andreu, where from 11 August you'll find somewhere where you can play at imagining new stories based on settings and characters that appear in the works in the collection. The activity consists in cutting out the characters, adding them to the scene and imagining new dialogues and stories with them. You can also take part in the micro-story competition and win two free tickets to the Museum and a DVD of Una mā de contes, every month.
