On 5 and 6 December 2012, a documentalist from the Records Department of the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya attended the second MINT (Metada Interoperability Services) training course for participants in the European project
Partage Plus – Digitising and Enabling Art Nouveau for Europeana.
The encounter took place in Athens, at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and taking part were experts and representatives from almost all the 23 institutions and museums all over Europe involved in this project. The chief aim of the project is to digitise works of art and documents related to Art Nouveau from different European countries to make them accessible through the cultural portal
Europeana. A special feature of this initiative is that a selection of works will be digitised in 3D.
The project has been financed by the European Union’s ICT Policy Support Programme as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme.
